Dispatcher Pro provides the ability to address custom document workflow requirements on a per-document basis, greatly improving document workflow efficiency. Its features include automated imaging, printing, routing, and parsing tasks. In addition, a versatile scheduler within Dispatcher Pro can be set to run any task or chained task set on a predefined schedule. The logging feature can be enabled to keep a record of all Dispatcher Pro activities.
Imaging Tasks: Imaging tasks include de-skewing, de-speckling, application of watermarks, annotation, and sequencing. In addition, multi-page TIFF files can be combined into one file, or a single TIFF file with many pages can be separated into individual files with user-selectable number of pages per file.
Printing Tasks: Printing tasks include the ability to print a “RAW” file to any Windows printer or LPR port. Windows application printing from .doc and .ppt files can be sent to ANY Windows printer.
Routing Tasks: Dispatcher Pro can collect, process, and distribute files as part of the routing tasks. File sources include scanned files from Konica Minolta bizhub products, folders on the user’s PC, as well as folders on the network. Original files can be saved and renamed in a user-defined folder.
Parser Tasks: The power of Dispatcher Pro is in its ability to intercept and parse a PostScript® print stream, searching for predefined criteria. The rules associated with the search criteria can be set to select a specific paper tray, set the finishing options, set the output quantities, and set the job attributes.
